The NPA Leadership Team plans, organizes, and oversees all NPA Programs and Activities.

Board of Directors

NPA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who set policy and direct the overall running of the organization. The Board of Directors is comprised of Officers and Directors.

  • Officers:  President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary
  • Directors

Officers are elected by the Board each September; they serve 1-year terms, limited to nine consecutive terms.

Committee Directors and Directors-at Large are appointed by the Board and serve 3-year terms, limited to three consecutive terms.

NPA Employees

A part-time Business Manager answers emails and phone calls, maintains the membership database, and assists NPA’s Board of Directors as needed.

NPA programs and activities are planned and managed by individual volunteers, or groups of volunteers, appointed by the Board of Directors.

Would you like to join NPA’s Board of Directors?

The Board welcomes members who have an interest in guiding NPA to become a Director-at-Large. Responsibilities include:

  • Attend monthly Board Meetings - can participate remotely via Zoom
  • Help set policy and participate in long-range planning
  • Help plan and organize NPA programs and activities

Important qualifications for prospective board members include:  dedicated to the mission of NPA, enjoyment of effectively working with others, plus any specialized skills or experience in planning, organizing and communication.
