Description

Chrysanthemum 'Cottage Apricot' is hard to find, so don't miss your chance to get several! It's an easy-care, long-lived plant that gently spreads. Ours was planted in 2009 and still delights in late summer. Flower Color - Pastel peach or lemon-yellow. Flower Shape and Structure - Single flowers are daisy-like with rich golden eye. Flower Size 1-3 inches Bloom Time - August, September, October Fragrance - Pungently aromatic when crushed. Foliage - Dark green, deeply lobed. Plant type - Perennial Habit and Form - Clumping. Spreads, but is easy to control. Height 1-2 feet, 2-4 feet Spread 2-4 feet. Width of 12 inches spreads fast to 2-4 feet plus. Water Requirements - Average moisture Light Requirements - Part Sun/Part Shade, Full Sun Soil Conditions - high fertility, Well-drained, Sandy, Moderately Fertile Additional Comments - Pinch back in early summer for neater habit and heavier flower production. Often sold as 'Apricot'.
