Daniel Mount lives on a small farm in the Snoqualmie Valley and enjoys growing organic veg and fruit and experimenting with flood tolerant plants. He has 30 years of career gardening in PNW and writes for and sits on the editorial board of the Washington Park Arboretum Bulletin, Pacific Horticulture Magazine.
He has a BS-Botany from University of Wisconsin and has traveled the world as a gardener and writer and curator picking up awards and accolades for his garden writing.
Daniel will introduce us to his love and appreciation of all the irises, with a presentation in the classroom. Then using the displays of irises in the Bellevue Botanical Garden he will educate and entertain us as we walk and talk in the borders.
Hopefully the weather in June will be good to us but dress accordingly so you don't miss out on the tour of the Irises at the Bellevue Botanical Garden.
