Botanical Latin with Susie Egan

Susie Egan is a landscape designer, Master Gardener, garden coach and speaker and owner of Cottage Lake Gardens. She is  also known as the Trillium Lady!

Susie will present a fascinating and intriguing PowerPoint on the history and evolution of Botanical Latin. Lots of fascinating facts and its a great boost to your understanding of the Latin  names on plant labels.

To further enhance your  Botanical Latin education we will then tour the NPA border at Bellevue Botanical Border. NPA's own Kit Haesloop will take you through the border bringing those Latin words to life as you match up the Latin name to the characteristics of plants or  the story behind the name. 

We will tour the border rain or shine so dress for the weather so you don't miss out on Latin in the border.
