Make Your Own Cloches

This is an in-person, hands-on workshop. These are the wire cloches NPA uses in the Border at Bellevue Botanical Garden to keep rabbits from eating our plants, and they make great plant supports too! Once you learn the wiring skills, you can make them any size that suits you - keep them simple or twist, bend, and curl to create something worthy of a place in your garden.
The price includes all material needed to make 2 medium-sized cloches, plus you get a materials list with information on suppliers and tools. You can bring your own tools, or share the instructors tools. Please bring gloves, and dress for the weather, as it's an outside class.
This would be a great class for NPA Neighborhood groups! If you think your NPA group would like a custom class, contact us directly and we can set up a time specially for your group.
Workshop will be held at The Gathering Place, at Bellevue Botanical Garden. This is the area directly to your left as you enter the garden. It is 'outside' but totally covered and the class will take place place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
