In this presentation, basic propagation techniques will be covered, along with some tips and tricks for success. The presentation includes video demonstrations of: How to make a Forsyth Pot and Dividing big tough perennials.
Learn how and when to take Softwood, Hardwood cuttings, Heel cutting and Layering and Air Layering, and make more plants…. for Free!
Then you get to make your own Forsyth pot! We will supply everything you need to make your own propagation station, and we will have some plant material for you to practice taking cuttings.
A handout is included which will have a list of all the techniques and materials.
There will also be a limited number (7 copies) of “Cuttings through The Year" available, a great little handbook and perfect for the PNW propagator! Cost: $10 at workshop.
